Thanks Rick. I'll see you on
the 26th. What is your web address? I linked a YouTube video
of the song Everlong by the Foo Fighters on piano. Can we
get the music for this song? I have to learn it one day 😊

Rick responded....
I get most printed music from musicnotes.com these days... here's Everlong..

You can print out the first page free and start "typing out" those "D's" in the left hand.
The trick there is timing. It's mostly a rhythmic piece I think. It's not too soon for you to
start working on it because you can take one measure at a time and use it as note reading
excercise, as finger motion exercise and drill and more.
I posted it to my website at http://www.pianolessonsetc.com/2015/06/foo-fighters-everlong.html
to study it further. Listening to the piano cover-- and then the original-- I think the piano cover you
pointed to isn't all too accurate.
Here's the original which is more instructive and USEFUL I think becausse the lyrics and melody stand out a LOT more than that piano version. A lot of this song is "overdone" in my view-- although the chords are straight forward and the melody isn't too bad actually. Back off on the energy and it can be done as a pretty good one-man piano vocal song.

I took a look to see what other piano people are doing with it and not a single person
just plays and sings it. They're either just playing it or hamming it up with multitracking.
I'll continue to find a good version of this that could be done, say, at Seasons52.
