Dorothy-2013---> Caberet vs. Amazon stock 4X up since then.
It looks like stocks in general jumped up after the 2008 "bailouts" or "Quantitative Easings", the phony operation that saved big banks from their crashing "derivatives".... and it looks like the money got put into those stocks again in 2013. You can see it all on the Amazon chart which looks like all the other DOW charts in the same period, more or less. I played stocks for too short a term to make anything. Also Gold and Silver crashed after 2013, that money going into stocks too. Here's Dorothy playing CABERET, from the movie reflecting life in the 1920's before the big Crash of 1929. You can study & consider the AMAZON chart below while listening!

R5 = RRRRR = Rick's Retirement Retreat Rock n Roll = Takin Care of Business - to be done like this
Music Magazine: How do you plan your sing alongs for these retirement centers?
Rick: I model our sing along slash shout out songs on the best of whatever version of that song is on youtube. For example, "Takin Care of Business" by BTO is easier to model on a version done live with shoutouts because they demonstrate where the best shout out part is ... takin care of business, everyday, ... everyway, it's alright & workin' overtime. So that's the part I hand the retirees... and only that on it's own page in the singalong book that we have 25 copies of for handing out... and in my binder I'll have the entire lyrics and chords on a sheet that I can follow. It's inspiring and it helps me follow through when I'm leading the group.

Johnny B. Goode by Berry/Springsteen will be my model for Retirement Center ShoutOUtSingAlong
This is not embedded because Youtube seems to be changing their options so just click on the link to see a performance of Johnny B. Goode with shout outs by the audience that I'll model my retirement home singalongs after... My next performance is Tues. June 26 at a Phoenix based retirement residence. Dorothy will lead the shout outs and I'll play the barely in-tune grand piano without any background from a keyboard ensemble.

465 views of my Ride Sally Ride on LiveLeak vs. 10 on Blogspot
I managed to find an updated browser for my MacG4/Safara 10.4 and so discovered I can post to Youtube and LiveLeak again. LiveLeak is amazing in terms of getting exposure. Comments can be pretty nasty and distasteful however-- I get 1 good comment for 10 malicious ones. Still, if one is slightly delusional (like me for instance), one can weather the comment storm and still be smugly satisfied with one's inflated ego and the dopamine rush from feeling self-important for 3 minutes. Not recommended for anyone who takes themselves too seriously.

Uncle Larry's Juke Box - 45's I Recollect... on Youtube
Leroy Pullins was actually a one hit wonder that capitolized on sounding like Roger Miller
Some anomalies---> I can't figure out if this is live or some sort of fake stage. The curtain closes at the end and the audience cheers fade-- they shouldn't fade. Despite appearing to be live, there is no shot of the audience. Why not? Here's a video (4) The Beatles -Help - YouTubewhere we can see the apparent crowd-- and actually see some of the fretboard work. Note that it's George playing a chord here...
Next, here's a good shot where we can see all three guitar players... and they all have hand positions on the frets... just at the point at 2:41 where that bass line comes in... it's a descending bass line-- but who is doing it? Not John... and it can't be George.. so must be Paul on the left. Maybe it's not being played by a bass guitar however... it's a single line of notes... who's doing it?
Next-- here we see George playing a bar chord-- it's A major... "and now my life has changed" are they lyrics at 2:40. He's on the 6th bar, right on top of it... I'm not a guitar player-- but shouldn't he be either in front of or behind it? Not sure.
George moves from A major to C# minor "in oh so many ways"... but his finger positions don't change! He just moves his bar chord finger from fret 6 to fret 5.... his other fingers do NOT change relative to one another. If he's playing a bar chord, this makes no sense because he's moving DOWN on the fretboard and he changing from a major to a minor chord. The relative positions of the fingers would have to change!- but they don't. Is this entire thing Millie Vanillied? I think maybe. It's worth further research anyway. And this is supposed to be a live concert.
(4) Red Rubber Ball - Cyrkle, The - YouTube
This video strikes me as a problem-- where is the organ? And the clapping of the audience is annoying. I think it must be the original performers. There are not mics on all these "original" videos-- so they're lip synching and do the real music in studio.
(4) Beatles A Hard Days Night Live Hollywood Bowl 23 08 64 Stereo - YouTube
This sounds like original audio and is missing lots of low end. Here we can actually see where the mics are.
(4) Mrs. Robinson & Not Fade Away (Live) by Simon & Garfunkel - YouTube
This is a later live performance--- in 2011... first done in the 1960s...
