Rick: I model our sing along slash shout out songs on the best of whatever version of that song is on youtube. For example, "Takin Care of Business" by BTO is easier to model on a version done live with shoutouts because they demonstrate where the best shout out part is ... takin care of business, everyday, ... everyway, it's alright & workin' overtime. So that's the part I hand the retirees... and only that on it's own page in the singalong book that we have 25 copies of for handing out... and in my binder I'll have the entire lyrics and chords on a sheet that I can follow. It's inspiring and it helps me follow through when I'm leading the group.
