Rick and Dorothy performed the piano-keyboard shows in and around Phoenix, Arizona from 2012 to 2019. Their unique duet featured one of them on 88-key piano while the other managed the bass, percussion & lead solo instruments on a portable keyboard ensemble. Vocals & singalongs were often part of the show. Dorothy died in January 2025 but she lives on electronically here and via quantum synchronicity winks to Rick from the beyondyondyond))ond))ond))) ) Email: rick_potvin@yahoo.com

Automatic piano patterns in left hand lend fun, authenticity and learning to songs.
Many of today's automatic piano keyboards have automatic left hand rhythm styles that use ONLY the piano sound in the TRADITIONAL musical patterns for the left hand. These patterns can be complex and tricky and can take years to learn and play in an accomplished way. By using automated versions of these patters, experienced players like me can learn and listen to new left hand pattern arrangements and novices can use them to do that too as well as have a lot more fun playing their songs in an authentic realistic sounding way. Here I play several tunes on such an automatic keyboard, the Yamaha E433 available online and at Sam Ash for around $300.
