I don't pretend that my version is anywhere near the quality of James Tayor-- you'll see what I mean. The point of playing one's own version is just that-- to "try" to match the "spirit" in one's own way. It's a lot of fun to do the Youtube originals and compare what one does with it. I missed a whole section-- and my vocals still need updating but here's the comparison for whatever it's worth. If you take piano lessons from me-- you'll at least learn what the value of those chord changes were-- in Roman numerals. I don't recall James Taylor ever explaining them.
