Rick and Dorothy partnered personally and professionally from 1995 to 2025. Their unique duet featured one of them on 88-key piano while the other managed the bass, percussion, lead solo instruments on a portable keyboard ensemble. Vocals and singalongs were often part of the show. Dorothy transitioned to the quantum-spiritual-realm QSR in January 2025 and she lives on electronically here and via quantum synchronicity winks to Rick from the beyond Email: rick_potvin@yahoo.com

Learn to play or to sing along to Jamaica Farewell with this 200 video playlist.
We saw Jay Ferris play Jamaica Farewell at "The Stratford" in Phoenix this afternoon among a dozen or so other numbers. It grabbed us in particular because it's a good audience sing-along-- and we've been working on our sing-alongs. We plan to add it to our local lesson program too because it's a fairly simple tune-- both chord-wise and melody wise. The original reggae rhythm adds something new for most students. If you follow this blog, you can learn this tune best by "osmosis"-- in other words-- just listen to the playlist that follows and I'll be adding a link to a lesson forum thread soon.
