2/4 time with an old-style stride in a timeless tune that occurs to me tonight....Is that all there is? It's got great chord changes, is amenable to a late night quiet jazz session over a beer or two. The narration in the song makes it one of a small category of songs with spoken narration. Surprisingly to me, it stuck with me over many years, more than I care to count anymore. Of course, I'll record me doing it as soon as I can-- to add to the following lesson playlist-- the lesson being one that is timeless too-- a lesson on life, and love as well as a good left hand stride.
