The Christmas idea is already in the air as of Thanksgiving in the U.S. Every year, I seem to find new ways to look at old Christmas carols by playing them in brand new ways that make them sound more contemporary. Some of Dorothy's students are learning to play Christmas songs for the first time-- others are more experienced-- but all of them can benefit by playing this hour long Lawrence Welk Christmas special where the best Christmas songs can be heard with that Lawrence Welk orchestra sound.
