Listening, hearing and appreciating: Vivaldi

The variance in volume and temperament in good classical music outdoes anything in pop music. Any instrumentalist-- piano players or otherwise-- should "hear" and "listen" to the emotive highs and lows, suspense and resolutions embedded in longer classical pieces. All ages are "ready" for it. I found this 45 min. Vivaldi "4 Seasons" this morning while looking for ideas for this Saturday morning as we head into colder and colder weather and Christmas-time. With the snow in the northeast and record breaking low temps being set all over North America (due to low sunspot activity, greater cloud cover and increased cosmic rays consistent with another oncoming ice age), I thought it would be interesting to "re-hear" this most famous of Vivaldi compositions.
